Harassment (Including Sexual Harassment) Policy
It is the Asotin County Library's intent to provide a work environment that is free from all forms of harassment. All employees are expected to be sensitive to and respectful of their co-workers and others with whom they come into contact while representing the Library. The Asotin County Library prohibits all our employees and/or patrons from engaging in any form of harassment, whether due to sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, or any other reason. If at any time you believe you are being subject to harassment or discrimination, or if you become aware of such conduct being directed at someone else, whether by another staff member or a library patron, you should promptly notify the Director. If you believe that the Director is involved in the conduct you are concerned about, you should promptly notify the Children's/Reference Librarian. All reported incidents will be investigated under the following guidelines:
